FAQ:

When is there going to be the next litter of puppies? Since we are such a small operation, we are not able to produce a large number of litters every year. However, we try to maintain three breeding females in our program that we can expect to have one litter per year, per dog. We cannot predict their heat cycles or guarantee that breeding is successful every time. We appreciate your patience and as soon as we know we're expecting a litter, we'll let you know right away.

What is the price of a goldendoodle? Our price range is currently between $3500 and $4200. Information regarding price of available litters will be mailed out via our mailing list and will be included on applications.

For more information about our breeding program, please read our more in-depth documents.

General Goldendoodle Information

What is a goldendoodle or F1?

Goldendoodles are a pure hybrid combination of a golden retriever and a poodle. They range in size from petite, mini, medium and standard. These dogs make the perfect family pet; they are smart, playful, loving, gentle, and loyal.

What is an F1b goldendoodle? An F1b goldendoodle is a combination of an F1 goldendoodle and a poodle. This results in a dog that is 75% poodle and is therefore less likely to shed or cause allergies than an F1, and still exemplary of the positive attributes people love about golden retrievers.

How big will my goldendoodle get? Goldendoodles come in many different sizes:

Petite: Under 25lbs

Mini: 25-35lbs

Medium: 35-50lbs

Standard: 55lbs or above

The size of your doodle depends on the size of the parents but can sometimes be larger or smaller than their indicated range. Note: "Medium" doodles are F1b or Multi-gen only.

Are goldendoodles hypoallergenic? Yes and no. Berkshire Goldendoodles has placed several goldendoodles in homes in which allergens were indicated, without any reported reactions. While we do see a greatly reduced amount of shedding in our goldendoodles, we cannot guarantee that they will be 100% allergen-free.
